PAIA and POPIA Implementation

Introduction
This proposal outline the implementation of PAIA and POPIA compliance for your Organisation. The purpose is to ensure that the business has the correct manuals, policies, procedures and practical controls in place to protect personal information and meet South Africa compliance requirements.
PAIA and POPIA are regulated by the Information Regulator of South Africa, which monitors compliance with both Acts.

Objectives
The primary reason is that compliance is mandatory under:
Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000
Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2023
All private bodies (PTY Ltd, CC and Sole Proprietors) must:
Have a PAIA manual available onsite and on the website
Protect Personal information in terms of POPIA
Appoint an Information Officer and
Comply with requests for access to information
Failure to comply results in fines, penalties and enforcement action

Deliverables from Infinity Academy
Develop and finalise your company’s compliance PAIA and POPIA Manual to be placed on your website
Review and document how personal information is collected, stored, used, shared and destroyed
Create all POPIA and PAIA policies and procedures
Assist with Information Officer and Deputy Information Officer responsibilities and registration
Provide all templates and documentation required for POPIA and PAIA
Assist with PAIA reporting for the first year
The implementation is concluded and customised to your Organisation requirements.

The cost for POPIA implementation is R2000 and PAIA is R2500, Total R4500

The project can be completed within 2 to 4 weeks on availability of company information and feedback
